This notice describes the personal data this app actually stores — no more and no less.

IP addresses are stored only as a hash, never in clear text. Passwords are hashed with PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 (240,000 iterations) and cannot be reversed.
3. Location data
Your location is used only when you tap "Near me". It is handled in the browser, passed to the server purely as a search parameter, and is not stored.
4. Photos
Uploaded evidence photos are stripped of EXIF metadata server-side — in particular GPS coordinates, which would otherwise reveal where you were. Do not upload photos in which people are identifiable.
5. Third-party services
Loading the app fetches content from the following providers. Your IP address is transmitted to them:
- OpenStreetMap — map tiles (openstreetmap.org)
- Wikimedia Commons — food photography (wikimedia.org)
We use no tracking cookies, no analytics and no ad networks. The only cookie is your sign-in cookie.
6. Retention
Account data is kept while your account exists. Sign-in logs are deleted after 90 days. Reviews and reports remain after account deletion in anonymised form — they are part of the evidence a halal status rests on.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You may also complain to a supervisory authority.
